Apply CSS rule to Safari only

Vota este artículo

There are few things that annoy me more than finding problems or something broken on projects that I had left working fine on a beta stage.

That was the case tonite, so here’s my comments on fixing an element CSS style but just for Safari. Browsed the net for hacks, and found this [link to source] :

@media screen and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio:0) {
/* Safari and Chrome */
.myClass {
color:red;
}

/* Safari only override */
::i-block-chrome,.myClass {
color:blue;
}
}

Lets see how it works, if it works.

[ update ] Quick check showed that it’s not working on Safari 7.0.3, need more testing indeed.

[ final update ] At the moment I do not longer need this hack, so no need to waste more time. I’d say it does not work.
